You have just come in my virtual workroom : I am very happy to welcome you in.
For a long time, I have been passionately fond of textile creation and I have challenged myself : how could I let see the Gospel of Jesus Christ? With what images could I talk about God to men of today ?
Drawing on the original sources of human creativity, I design motives, and then I set them over fabrics...
What could be more symbolic than the nearby Cistercian
abbey of Pontigny! Look : a boat hull appears lying in the soft valley
of Serein River, doesn't it ?
This
stoneship is used for an anchorage : it is the territory of the "Mission
de France";
its members, priests or laymen, have decided since 1941 to live and work
amid men and women of all origins, "like leaven in dough"...
To be involved with them, and in my neighboring parish of Héry, in the Sens-Auxerre diocese, gives a soul to my work and justifies my quest.
